About this deal

At the point the story picks up, he is clean and sober and making amends, getting a second chance to slowly find his way back home.

I didn't even get all that emotional, and I think it was because I was waiting for this connection to the characters or a connection to their connection to each other, but I wasn't feeling it. Jonathan is trying and he is sober for over a year now and Kennedy gave him a chance because she believes him and wanted her daughter to have a father she deserved. The whole world might be his oyster now, yet the only thing he truly wants in life is to earn back the love of the woman he’s wronged too many times in the past, and to get to know the daughter he’s never even met. Love can’t be enough when one was sacrificing everything to keep them together, and the other was doing everything to break them apart. Yeah,” he mumbles, though he doesn’t seem to like that fact, his attention now on the drawings covering his cast. What I mean by that is that in the beginning of the book when the present-day relationship between Kennedy and Jonathan is most damaged, the contrasting story of their sweet, untainted beginning is told.

It would be too easy to blame Johnny for what he did, because there are always two sides of a story.

What follows is a moving tale of second chances, of a man working hard to earn back the trust of those he’s let down, of a father getting to know his child for the first time and learning the true meaning of unconditional love.

She might show moments of weakness and give in to Jonathan but she knows when to pull back and focus. it took him a few years yes, but he got there, and i was beyond proud to see him recovered, his character’s growth and development was truly wonderful. His popularity with teachers and fellow students alike isn't exactly brilliant; however, a light at the end of the tunnel comes from the most unexpected source. God the feels that came rushing at me, the love I felt consumed me, normally I’m not really a fan of second chance romances because you kind of know the layout of the story, past they break up, then they make up end of story, but this was done in such an outstanding way like pieces of a puzzle we’d be given pieces of their past that we’d make sense of to complete their future. As this family seeks to heal, Jonathan and Kennedy cling to the hope they have for their future and learn to forgive the sins of their past.to sum it up, Jonathan has always dreamed of becoming an actor ever since he was a kid, and before his graduation he decides to run away to LA to pursue his dreams. She can’t believe her luck when she finds out that her favourite superhero knows her mummy and he wants to feed the ducks with her…COOL! When I started seeing all the rave reviews from friends start to roll in, I knew I had to read it pronto. they’ve been through a lot and yet they never, ever, stopped loving each other – for this reason their relationship just felt so. I commend her for showing strength, resistance and knowing her (their) worth during that time wherein she could just succumb and take him back.
