About this deal

I also enjoyed the many original characters who made a comeback in this book; Football, Cam, Tracy's mum, Justine and Peter. For example, Jess knows that that Tracy hates people to be late, or let her down, because of her experiences with her own mum. Whether the premise is flawed or not, class does play a huge role in this novel, to the point where most of the characters and their actions are defined by their societal class. But all Tracy really wants to know is if her film-star mum will make it back from Hollywood in time to watch her in her starring role. Marina is shocked and worried, mostly because they are now on their own, and she does not have someone to look after them or to contact.

Jess reads one of Cam's books, to distract herself, whilst Tracy argues with Marina as to why she will not publish her book.

We mainly use Royal Mail Tracked 48 Service for goods which weight less then 2kg, all other goods will be delivered by a Courier. In the first part, we see Tracy and Jess living in their slightly mouldy council flat situated in a tower block known as "Marlborough Tower" on the Duke Estate. I loved all of the mentions of characters from Tracy's childhood and loved the references to little mementos too (the Mickey Mouse clock! He has produced over sixty of his own titles, including much-loved favourites Ketchup on Your Cornflakes and Shark in the Park. I loved revisiting all of these old characters again in modern setting and seeing how life has changed after we turned that final page all those years ago.

I read the three Tracey Beaker novels as a child and am now in my thirties, reading this book to make myself smile. Our list includes some of the world’s favourite authors, illustrators and licensed brands, such as Eric Carle, Helen Oxenbury, Nadia Shireen, The Snowman, Doctor Who, Roald Dahl, Tom Fletcher, Jeff Kinney, Rick Riordan, Robin Stevens, and Jacqueline Wilson to name but a few. I'd been disappointed by Opal Plumstead, the last JW book I read, because despite implications that she was gay the main character skips off into the sunset-literally-with a boring bloke at the end. Now that's where the real ruffians live, where step-dads abuse their kids (because they're working class) and where "even the babies look like they'd spit on you").A fabulous new cover look for this brilliant story starring Tracy Beaker, Jacqueline Wilson's most enduring and popular character.

My Mum Tracy Beaker is a fantastic new story, reuniting readers with a much-loved old friend (and some old enemies. Readers hold the book shut, ask themselves a question they're dying to know the answer to, then open the book at random and read whatever is on the page in front of them. The Book of You": In this heartwarming and touching story, young Gemma is living with her mother and her mother's abusive boyfriend. Featuring some of your favourite characters - including Tracy Beaker, Floss from Candyfloss, Ruby and Garnet from Double Act!Adrian Harrington began trading in 1971, as part of Harrington Brothers in the Chelsea Antiques Market on London's fashionable King's Road.
